Job Description

Digital Exports , a Shenzhen (Longhua/Qinghu) based trading company and assembly house needs a Foreign Sales Manager to oversee Chinese sales staff.  We are an International company with offices in the USA and China with customers all over the world. We specialize in the digital promotional market selling USB products, Bluetooth and Mobile related accessories to companies worldwide.

Digital Exports is staffed by a close-knit, young and dynamic team and we are now looking for an experienced and talented Foreign Sales Manager to join our team as the Director of Sales. The successful candidate will enjoy facing new challenges, be motivated to succeed beyond expectations, is willing to roll their sleeves up and get their hands dirty and most important to have a great sense of humour along with a strong work ethic.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Build and lead the sales team at Digital Exports

– set sales targets by month/quarter/year

– Develop sales strategy for Digital Exports, including framework to prioritise industry & prospective clients, timeline to develop client relationship, packaging of opportunities, including online, and analysis of latest competitive landscape

– Develop sales pitch for Digital Exports, including our positioning in the competitive landscape, our unique value proposition, our product line and our service.

– Define clear processes for working with other functions, including Finance, Production and Assembly

 

2. Manage the Sales team at Digital Exports

– Set individual sales target appropriate to each member of the sales team

– Manage and track individual performance and conduct regular reviews to provide feedback

– Coach the team and provide appropriate daily training in sales technique

 

3. Meet and exceed target for Sales function

– Deliver agreed sales target both as an individual and as a sales function

– Track ongoing sales performance vs. target, esp. overall revenue and profit margin

– Provide regular sales performance reports to management team

 

4.Report to the immediate supervisor, Digital Exports General Manager

 

Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably for other similar manufacturing or trading companies

– Demonstrable success in acquiring and growing client accounts

– Extensive network with accounts in promotional product industry and/or retail industry

– Experience in managing a multi-national sales team

– Excellent command of Mandarin and English, CET 6 for Chinese candidates; oral proficiency in Mandarin for foreign candidates

– Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

– Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel

– Professional attitude and approach to business
